Where we are

4-star seaside hotel in Ischia

Overlooking Cartaromana Bay, in the setting of the Marine Protected Area of Sant’Anna, rises the Strand Hotel Delfini Terme. We are just ten minutes from the Aragonese Castle and well connected to the town center, yet far from the bustle: here, you breathe sea air and tranquility all year round.

Our location is unique: the view opens wide over the gulf, and the private descent leads directly to the cliffs and bathing platforms.
Several public buses stop right in front of the hotel, and there are also partner taxi boats and dedicated transfers available to and from the airport or train station. It’s the perfect base for exploring Ischia—its beaches, thermal springs, and charming villages.

How to reach us

Land at Naples Capodichino Airport and head to the docks for Ischia. The Molo Beverello, from which hydrofoils depart, is connected by shuttle and taxi. Alternatively, you can go to the Mergellina marina, also served by hydrofoils. Upon arrival on the island, the public bus stops right in front of the hotel entrance.

By train

If you’re traveling by train, get off at Napoli Centrale to quickly reach Molo Beverello or Calata di Massa, or at Napoli Mergellina if you prefer to embark by hydrofoil. From the stations, the docks are only a short distance away and can be reached by taxi or city bus. After the crossing, it’s easy to reach the hotel from Ischia Porto: the local bus stops right in front of the property with frequent service, while upon request we can arrange a private transfer to bring you directly to our entrance on Via Nuova Cartaromana.

By car

If you’re arriving by car, take the highway to Naples and, after the tollbooth, follow the Tangenziale toward Pozzuoli, exiting at Via Campana—where you’ll find ferry departures to Ischia Porto or Casamicciola. Alternatively, you can follow the signs for the port area of Naples and embark from Calata di Massa. Once on the island, follow the directions to Ischia Ponte and then to Via Nuova Cartaromana.
